Robert CHOURAQUI came to photography in the psychedelic years of the mid-70s, after joining one of the few major French LIGHT SHOW groups, ANDROIDE Lightshow. From this world came his taste for strange, colorful atmospheres and his mastery of light and shadow.
At the end of the 70s, he was the first to break down the barriers between the worlds of fashion and bondage, lighting his bondage photos as fashion photos, and tying up his agency models for fashion magazines.
He is the photographer of Mode-ETRANGE, and has often photographed the superb CATANZARO outfits.
